Ogai Mori (森 鴎外 Mori Ogai, February 17, 1862 – July 8, 1922)
Hard-nose man who is very fond of novelties.
Born into hereditary doctors to a feudal lord, he became an army surgeon and studied German.
While working as a high-ranking army doctor, he published novels, poets and translations including his own literary journal.
Romantic relationship between Germany girl and Japanese man amazed public at the time.
