"The God of Manga"

The originator of “Japanimation" as well as manga.
He created numbers of animes including the Astro Boy series which has been widely broadcasted all over the world. What he shows, the humanism, the marvels of technology and a bright future, set a direction of post-war Japan.

The science fiction trilogy in his early years, "Lost World" in 1948, "Metropolis" in 1949 and "Nextworld" in 1951, is overwhelming to cause a sensation. Katsuhiro Otomo, a famous manga artist, a screenwriter and a film director, told his experience that "I momentarily lost myself to know my works I have written as my original, well... more than that, was already created over 30 years ago (by Mr. Tezuka).
