Kyoko Okazaki

Kyoko OkazakiKyoko Okazaki (岡崎 京子 Okazaki Kyōko, born December 13, 1963) is a Japanese manga artist whose manga are popular for their unorthodox style and controversial topics, for instance sex, sadomasochism, drugs, homosexuality, rape, murder and prostitution.

A full moon is covered under the heavy cloud to send out the dull light. She cannot get to sleep as her friend's casual remark when saying good-bye lays heavy on her mind.... When she feels that way, her boy-friend does nothing worthwhile other than talking something immaterial.

Driven by an irresistible impulse to abandon everything such as her work, love and home, she was anxious to go somewhere to start with a clean slate. She knows the worst was yet to come. But for she must not go to worse....

Woman described by Kyoko Okazaki looks just like the full moon in the cloudy sky.

What only a woman knows about....
What woman hopes for....

Her works are must-read for women who get fed up with being as a woman, and men who find it hard to understand women.

Notable works:
  Pink (1989)
  Helter Skelter (2003)
