Naoya Shiga (志賀 直哉 Shiga Naoya, 20 February 1883 – 21 October 1971)
Harassed "god of fiction"
With his plain and minimal style, there are a lot of admirers of his works including Ryunosuke Akutagawa,
Takiji Kobayashi and Yasujiro Ozu, a Japanese film director.
For many years, he troubled over the conflict with his father who was a successful industrialist, and wrote his masterpiece "Reconciliation".
